Her name is well-known as Kate Capshaw, an American actress who retired. She is best known for her role as Willie Scott, an American nightclub singer and performer in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984), which was directed by her eventual husband Steven Spielberg. She has appeared in Dreamscape (1984), Power(1986), SpaceCamp(1986), Black Rain (1989), Love Affair (94), Just Cause (1995) and The Love Letter (1999). The work of her portraits has been displayed at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery Capshaw was born Kathleen Sue Nail in Fort Worth, Texas, the daughter of Beverley Sue (nee Simon), a beauty and travel agent, as well as Edwin Leon Nail, an airline employee of the airline. [4] At the age of five she moved to St. Louis and graduated from Hazelwood Senior High School. Capshaw received a degree from the University of Missouri in education. She was also a part of Alpha Delta Pi. She taught special education at Southern Boone High School in Ashland, Missouri, and Rock Bridge High School in Columbia, Missouri.
