Kari Sam Wuhrer born April 28, 1968 is an American Actress and Singer. Wuhrer first started her acting career when she was as a teenager. Her most well-known role was as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders as well as her role as the character Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. She has been blessed with three brothers. When she was in her teens She performed in nightclubs by sneaking from the house. From the Wooster School, at the age of 13 She began her studies in acting. Then, at the Tisch School of the Arts located at New York University, Marymount Manhattan College at Columbia University and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London with the well-known instructor Uta Hagen, Wuhrer studied. She is a Brookfield native birthed in Brookfield Connecticut on the 28th day of April, 1967. Kari is the daughter of a German-American father as well as a mother from Germany. Kari is the youngest of three kids. In her teens, she sang at nightclubs as she slipped out for performances. When she was 13 years young, Kari studied acting at the Wooster School. Later, she enrolled in drama studies at Tisch School of the Arts in New York University, Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College and at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and renowned instructor Uta Hagen. Kari began her journey into acting when she was 13, and she got her first big break in 1987, when she was featured on MTV Remote Control.
